Registration fee

€ 630.00 General Participants

€ 450.00 Presenters (Including Poster Exhibitors)

€ 380.00 Students

Registrants of all type completed registration by May 31, 2018, receive €100.00 deduction from the registration fee.

Instructions for registrants

  • Presenters must register after the acceptance of the paper in order to receive the discounted registration fee.
  • Currently registered students from the Academia can also be registered.
  • Accompanying Persons may register through the registration category (General, Presenters or Students) of the principal applicant. They will have access to all facilities availed by the principal applicant as well as special tours if available.


Registration and payment will be confirmed by E-Mail.

Cancellation policy

  • For cancellations received before June 30, 2018 registration fee will be refunded with a 100 euros cancellation fee deducted.
  • Cancellations received from July 1 through August 31, 2018 will be eligible to a refund of 50% of the paid registration fee.
  • For cancellations occurring after September 1, 2018 no refunds can be made.
  • Bank administration fee and credit card fee will not be refunded.

 Data use agreement

With registration, the participant agrees to the usage of his data by the organization committee.

Personal data will not be passed on to third parties. Agreement can be revoked informally by writing an E-Mail to:

Legal basis

Organizers of the congress are HafenCity University of Hamburg, AGFW GmbH, the International Energy Agency, and the IEA District Heating and Cooling.  

The organizers and their authorized representatives cannot be held liable for any damages, of whatever nature or loss of goods. Nor can they be held for any damages arising from any other defects in the accommodation or the surrounding grounds, any damage to goods or persons arising from any cause whatsoever, if and insofar as such damage or loss is not covered by third party liability insurance taken out by the organizers. German law is applicable. Place of jurisdiction is Hamburg, Germany.
